Pour a small amount of
cold water into plastic bowl. Using
eyedropper, add essential oil, one drop at a time to water. Scent should be strong, it will fade slightly
when sachets dry. Mix plaster into
scented water, following instructions with the plaster. Do not clean the bowl or dispose of unused
plaster in sink. It will harden in drain pipes. Pour plaster into molds and
lightly tap molds on table to bring any air bubbles to the surface. If necessary, use a knife to level backs of
sachets. For hanging sachets, fold one
8" length of ribbon in half and place ends approximately 1 inch into
plaster at center top of mold. Allow
plaster to harden. Carefully invert
molds to remove sachets. Use
fine sandpaper or nail file to smooth any rough edges. Add water to acrylic paint to create a thin
wash. Paint sachets using a small paint
brush and thinned paint. Allow to
dry. Spray sachets with acrylic spray
and allow to dry.
