Uncle Joe's Blueberry Tart

1 1/2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 cup sugar, divided
Dash of salt
1/2 cup butter or oleo, softened
4 cups blueberries
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, salt, and butter.  Mix till crumbs are formed.  Reserve 3/4 cup.  Press remainder over the bottom and 3/4 up sides of 9 inch spring form pan.  Combine remaining ingredients. Mix and let stand 15 minutes.  Spoon mixture into pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.  Spread reserved crumbs on top. Bake 20 minutes longer until golden brown.  Serve warm or cold with cream (or ice cream).

Uncle Joe was the brother of Donald's dad.  He was a prison guard and lived in Michigan City, Indiana all his life.
