Chinese Dumpling Dipping Sauce

 

1 teaspoon sugar▢ 
▢ 2 Tbsp. soy sauce

1 Tbsp. hot water

1 tsp. sugar
▢ 1 tsp. rice vinegar
▢ 1 tsp, chili oil
▢ 1 tsp. minced garlic 
▢ 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
▢ ½ teaspoon toasted sesame oil

Dissolve sugar in hot water.  Stir in remaining ingredients and serve with Chinese dumplings.
