Hershey's chocolate syrup
Cool Whip
Make brownies. Allow to cool completely. Break into bite size chunks. Spread a layer of brownie chunks on bottom of
glass bowl or trifle bowl. Drizzle some
chocolate syrup on brownies. Add a layer
of chocolate pudding, then a layer of cool whip. Repeat, finishing with cool whip. Save a few brownie crumbs for top, or shave
semi-sweet chocolate curls onto top. You
can use cooked chocolate pudding, but it must be chilled first or it will melt
the cool whip when you assemble the trifle.

Marilyn and I both suffered from an incurable sweet tooth. She was also one of the members of the
Cursillo group that is so special to me. Her name for the dessert is somewhat ominous since she died of a heart attack in her 60s.
