1/4 cup Amaretto liqueur
Sliced almonds, toasted
Mix cheese and Amaretto
together one to four days ahead. Pack in
small bowl lined with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Unmold onto plate. Stud cheese mold with sliced almonds like a
porcupine. Serve with fruit. Sliced apples and pears are good. Dip them in lemon juice to prevent browning.
A recipe from Michele Ackermann. It is kind of ritzy and unusual (like Michele). Michele is a friend from my special Cursillo “group.”
