1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour
6 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
Cream butter and sugar
together until fluffy. Add eggs
alternately with flour. Add
vanilla. Beat well. Pour into well greased and floured 10-inch
tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake for 1 1/4 hours until long pick
inserted comes out clean. No peeking
until end of cooking time or the cake may fall.
Cool in pan.
