1 tsp. corn starch
1 cup boiling water
3 eggs, separated
1 lemon
Baked 9 inch pie shell
Mix 1 cup sugar and
corn starch. Add water and cook until
clear. Remove from heat and add beaten
egg yolks, juice of lemon, and the grated rind of the lemon. Pour into baked pie shell. Beat egg whites with 1/2 cup sugar until they
form stiff peaks. Spread over pie and
brown in oven.
