1 small onion (chopped)
1 pkg. taco seasoning
Tomatoes (chopped)
Lettuce (shredded)
Onions (chopped)
Cheddar cheese (grated)
1 can refried beans
(warmed)
Black olives (sliced)
Sour cream (chilled)
Taco sauce (opened)
Tacos or tortilla chips
(crumbled)
Brown hamburger and
onions. Drain fat. Add taco seasoning and water according to
package directions. Set out taco meat
and other ingredients in bowls and let everyone fix their own.
The kids always liked this as they could feel more like they were in control of what was on their plate--plus it tastes good.
